چکیده

We summarize approaches to tactical diversity, mobility and field control developed over the recent years in team Gliders, ranging from tactic-dependent evaluation and selection of players’ actions, to dynamic tactics based on Voronoi Diagrams, to tactical analysis and opponent modeling with information dynamics, to a bio-inspired mechanism for dynamic repositioning. All these approaches are sufficiently generic to be applicable to other RoboCup Soccer Leagues and various team sports scenarios. The reviewed approaches have been integrated in Gliders2016 and successfully tested against benchmarks.

A Self-organized Multi Agent Decision Making System Based on Fuzzy Probabilities: The Case of Aphasia Diagnosis

Aphasia diagnosis is a challenging medical diagnostic task due to the linguistic uncertainty and vagueness, large number of measurements with imprecision, inconsistencies in the definition of Aphasic syndromes, natural diversity and subjectivity in test objects as well as in options of experts who diagnose the disease. In this paper we present a new self-organized multi agent system that diagno...

Tactical Operations of Multi-Robot Teams in Urban Warfare

With scaling of multi-robot teams deployed in military operations, there is a need to boost autonomy of individual, as well team behaviors. We developed a feature-rich simulation testbed for experimental evaluation of multi-agent coordination mechanisms applicable in tactical military operations in urban warfare. In particular, we investigated four approaches including multi-agent mission plann...

Tactical operations of multi-robot teams in urban warfare (demonstration)

With scaling of multi-robot teams deployed in military operations, there is a need to boost autonomy of individual, as well as team behaviors. In particular, we investigated and implemented four approaches including multi-...

A Gillespie-based Computational Model for Integrating Event-driven and Multi-Agent Based Simulation: Extended Abstract

Based on two intuitions – (i) event-driven systems and multi-agent systems are two computational paradigms that are amenable of a coherent interpretation within a unique conceptual framework; (ii) integrating the two simulation approaches can lead to a more expressive and powerful simulation framework – we propose a computational model integrating Discrete-Event Simulation (DES) and Multi-Agent...

Knowledge Organization and Logical Description for Multi-Agent Tactical Plan Recognition

Recent applications of plan recognition require observing agents whose behavior is reactive, in that the observed agent may be so intelligent as to coordinate their plans. With the analysis of these domain characteristics in military plan recognition, we propose that the multi-agent tactical plan recognition is essentially a problem about abduction, and detail the knowledge organization and log...
